1.) I love to read books and I’m passionate about getting my students to love reading, too! My favorite genre is historical fiction.
2.) While living on O’ahu, I was chosen to be a movie extra in Midway and The Wrong Missy. You have to look very closely to spot me in Midway (I’m standing outside in a group of women). In The Wrong Missy, the shot is of me from the waist down walking in a restaurant next to another gal.
3.) I love to hike in our beautiful mountains! As of June 2026, I’ve bagged 12 Colorado 14ers; the most recent being Handies Peak in the San Juan Mountains, located near Lake City.
